he alignment marks on my swing arm aren't even close to setting my wheel in alignment with my sprocket and chain. Pretty simple tool for more piece of mind when doing chain adjustments. Works well on my bikes. I put the tool on just to see if my current alignment was good. It is, but the tool confirmed my suspicion that the alignment marks on my swing arm are not stamped symmetrically. I eyeballed it prior to purchasing this tool. If you have calibrated eyesight, an alignment tool isn?t really necessary. But, this is an affordable and useful little device to make the job a tad easier. Would be better if the metal rod was longer.This tool is essential to minimize chain, sprocket wear, and noise. It is kind of a pain to use as you need to remove the chain card to enable setting this up. But once done, my ride is much quieter.If you have deep pockets, I imagine the laser alignment tools would be the way to go.Fast shipping as always too.It comes in a big box, I don't think it's necessary. I want economical shipping.That's why shipping is expensive and subject to extra inspection at customs.

The scale position of the chain adjuster is a collection of manufacturing errors of some parts, so I was not sure if I could trust it completely. I even tried to put water thread on the front and rear wheels, but in the end I couldn't figure it out. This method is also unreliable since the rear wheel is offset from the centerline in some models (such as ZrX1200). With this tool, I can at least align the front and rear Sprockets reasonably well. The chain adjustment, which I had always been bothered by, is now done. That's it!" I feel that it has become a stronghold for me.

Over 40 years, the time I adjusted various Chain from 50cc to 1000cc was Large strange, I'm not nervous, but it took me about 30 minutes at the earliest.
Using the DAYTONAChainAlignment, I was able to make the adjustments right away, and now I only have to manage the shaft tightening torque.
I really should have purchased it sooner.
I think it would be better if there were spare parts.

Alignment Tool

Used several times so far. Ordered the item for bikes chain adjustments. Colour RED. Quality is fantastic. Fitment is perfect on sprocket. DIY alignment work is easy. Highly recommended item.
