It isn't a TRICK STAR model, but I bought one of the same type.
The one I got was K-5170. Its color type was Graphix, and I chose size LL.
It's a 2013 model, and it's already out of production.
* Since the finger tip of the "elf" mesh glove I used to have (cheap chemical fiber one of 2RINKAN limited edition) got a hole, I decided to have a more durable one even if it costed me a bit more.
I'm expecting it to be durable because it is made of real leather.
Following is the comparison with the "elf" gloves.
* My hands are rather small (20cm from my wrist to the tip of my middle finger), but they are quite thick.
Size L of elf gloves were perfect for me.
* As I tried this one on at a store, size L had the perfect finger length but the thickness wasn't enough. It felt stiff.
* I bought size LL, and the length is 5mm-1cm overlong. It doesn't bother me when I'm driving, but it's difficult to control my cell phone when I'm wearing these gloves.
* The leather is really soft and it conforms with the movement of the hand quite well.
* As it is made of leather, it is less likely to slip compared to the elf gloves.
* The palm leather is thin and lacks cushioning effect. It makes me feel the handle vibration more than the elf gloves.
The palm cushion effect of elf was better.
* Since this product adopts polyester mesh for some part of its back and fingers (back hand side), its ventilation is extremely good compared to other leather gloves.
* Though it is not as good as 100% chemical fiber ones, you won't have problem using it on a mid-summer day.
* Soft pads are applied to the knuckles and the back of the hand.
It does absorb the shock to some extent, but it hurts when something hits.
I think the elf one had better protection effect.
It doesn't have any special protection feature on its palm side.
* Since it is made of leather, it seems to be more wear resistant than elf when you fall and slip on the ground.
* It uses water repellent cow leather, and sheds water to some extent.
I once drove on a heavily raining day and it got soaked. But the leather was hard and didn't wear out even though I didn't perform any maintenance.
* It is a glove that makes the most of being a leather glove without losing its "feature and controllability".
