Simple in it's design which offers performance gains in a compact package while improving the overall appearance
About quality and texture - The ram air intake kit from Brock's is made from a dry multi-layered water proof gauze filter with an aluminium elbow with a breather hose fitting and temperature sensor fitting, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - Simple in it's design which offers performance gains in a compact package while improving the overall appearance. The positioning of this ram air intake is perfect for allowing the addition of performace parts like oil cooler and catch can.Products to buy together - Another product to purchase when looking to further increase the performance on the Monkey 125 would be a full exhaust system, which together will allow for a freer flowing engine.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the ram air intake kit is a simple task that took 0.7 of an hour complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to gain aceess, remove the original air box and secure the air filter kit to the throttle body.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Brock's sell to be priced high when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the ram air intake kit is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the ram air intake kit, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike Japan is the first place I look to for all my motorcycle needs. From service parts to performance products and even motorcycle gear and apparel, Webike always seem to satisfy my needs in regards to availability and pricing.
About quality and texture, I can confirm that the quality is great and that the materials used are a aluminum tubing, reinforced silcone coupler, stainless steel hose clamps and a water proof air filter. About the feeling of use, The ram air intake kit is much more compact when compared to the original air filter setup and looks better suited to the Monkey 125 with an incredible intake sound that is generated from the little motor. Products to buy together, While looks and sound are improved over the original setup, the negitive aspect that this setup brings is a lean fuel condition due to the additional air. Selecting a fuel controller to correct this problem would be ideal to also add to your cart. Difficulty of installation, I can say the fitment of the ram air intake kit for my installation was of average difficultly due to the access required to remove the original air filter setup and also position and secure the silicone hose to the throttle body. Cost performance and comparison with other products, The pricing of this product is high but worth the extra cost if you take into account the water proof and cleanable air filter that will see you through many years of use. About shipping and packaging, My order was shipped within 24 hours of the product being in stock and I received a few emails advising me of the status up until the order was dispatched. The order arrived within the estimated date range and was extremely well packaged. I found the link supplied to track my order very useful while I was waiting for the order to land in the country. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing, I have no concerns or cautions when purchasing from Webike. I cannot recommend Webike enough for the majority of your biking needs. They not only sell aftermarket parts and bike gear but also OEM parts for your repairs and servicing needs.View Detail
About quality and texture - Top quality. Very happy with the polished finish on the aluminium intake tube and the water proof ability of the Sprint Filter.About the feeling of use - This air intake kit looks a 1000 times better then the OEM Honda airbox and that was the main reason behind installing it on the Monkey. There maybe a slight performance increase on a stock 125cc engine but nothing to rave about.Products to buy together - I find when you remove the OEM Honda airbox for an after market intake it does leave a large gap on the left hand side below the fuel tank and I would recommend adding the horn relocation bracket from Kijima to fill that void.Difficulty of installation - Pretty straight forward install here and no special tools required. You should have the old airbox removed and new ram air intake installed in under an hour. The intake tube can be positioned in a few different angles depending the look you're after.Cost performance and comparison with other products - This kit is expensive compared to the one available from Kitaco but I find the parts in this kit to be of a better quality and the look of this kit was what I was after.About shipping and packaging - Sea freight is my preferred shipping option and usually arrives in Australia in 6 to 8 weeks from dispatch. Always well packaged to ensure parts arrive safety and are ready for use.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - If you are looking for that slight performance increase from the air intake but do not want a loud intake like this one is, I would suggest purchasing the power air filter from Takegawa that fits into the OEM Honda air box.View Detail
The welds are messy, though they look nice at first glance. The Blowby insert is thicker and much shorter than the picture, so it is difficult to plumb. I think it's an effective Parts for about 3000-6000 revolutions.View Detail

About quality and texture - The rear rack from Honda is made from pieces of flat bar and steel tube with precision bents that are TIG welded together and plated with a chrome surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - I feel having a factory Honda rear rack on the Monkey 125 is the best choice for aesthetics but when it comes to practicality this is not the case due to it's small cargo bed dimensions but really it'd all about the look for me.Products to buy together - A key product to buy together with the rear rack for me was a fender eliminator as I wanted to add as much of the original Monkey Z50 styling back to the Monkey 125 and that started with removing unwanted black plastic parts.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the rear rack is a simple task that took 0.5 of an hour to complete. Some slight mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is all that is required to secure the rear rack to the frame.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Honda sell to be very reasonable when compared to what some of the other companies sell their products for and their rear rack is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being a no significant cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the rear rack, I chose sea EMS for an earlier arrival date as I was in no particular rush to install the product. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - For my location, when purchasing a special factory Honda product like this, it is best to do so from Webike Japan. There are a few local stores selling parts for the Monkey 125 but the product is not available.View Detail
About quality and texture - The clutch outer from Honda is made from aluminium casting and steel machining that are secured together, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - I was having issues easily finding neutral and replacing this part solved the problem. The cause was the grooves that wear into the aluminium between the fingers where the clutch disks lay.Products to buy together - A key product to buy together with the clutch outer for me was new clutch disks, there are many options available but I thought the reinforced 6 clutch disk kit Kitaco sell was ideal for my engine setup and it has also replaced other worn aluminium parts in the clutch mechanism.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the clutch outer is a advanced task that took 1.5 hours to complete. Mechanical aptitude, the use of special tools and the knowledge of disassembling the engine is required to secure the clutch outer to the transmission main shaft.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Honda sell to be very reasonable when compared to what some of the other companies sell their products for but this is not the case with the clutch outer as the pricing seems excessive.About shipping and packaging - With there being a significant cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the clutch outer, I chose sea freight to save some money as the part was not required immediately. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike Japan is the first place I look to for all my motorcycle needs. About quality and texture - The left cylinder head cover from Honda is made from cast aluminium and a black painted surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - The finned design of the left cylinder head cover from the Grom is preferred over the flat design of the left cylinder head cover from the Monkey 125 and the colour change gives the engine some character.Products to buy together - More black parts from the Grom engine like the timing cover and crank cover for the left side of the engine and the clutch cover protector for the right side of the engine would be key products to buy together with the left cylinder head cover to balance the colour change.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the left cylinder head cover is a simple task that took 0.1 of an hour to complete. Common sense and the use of basic hand tools is all that is required to secure the cover to the cylinder head after transferring over the O-ring. Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Honda sell to be very reasonable when compared to what some of the other companies sell their products for and the left cylinder head cover is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the left cylinder head cover, I chose EMS for an earlier arrival date. About quality and texture - The exhaust system gasket from Honda is made from a high temperature metal graphite, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - No noticeable exhaust leak from the old gasket but since the exhaust system had been installed and removed a few times I thought it best to replace the gasket this time around.Products to buy together - A key product to purchase when carrying out general maintenance on the engine is a new gasket for the clutch cover as this cover is removed quite regularly for access to clean the oil spinner and filter screen.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the exhaust system gasket is an simple task that took 0.1 of an hour to complete. Common sense is all that is required to secure the gasket into the exhaust port in the cylinder head.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Honda sell to be very reasonable when compared to what some of the other companies sell their products for and the exhaust system gasket is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the exhaust system gasket, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. About quality and texture - The cam chain guide roller from Honda is made from a hard rubber bonded onto a steel center, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - The cam chain guide roller is a solid little part that constantly cops a beating from the cam chain and it's tension. It's worth your while having an inspection every now and then and keeping an eye out for pieces of rubber in the filter.Products to buy together - Parts within the cam chain tensioner system suffer significant wear with engine upgrades that allow for much higher RPM riding and a key product to buy together with the cam chain guide roller is the cam chain tensioner push rod head.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the cam chain guide roller is an advanced task that took 1 hour to complete due to the disassembly of the engine required to access the area in which the guide roller is installed. Mechanical aptitude and the use of a special tool and basic hand tools is what is required to secure the guide roller to the engine case.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Honda sell to be very reasonable when compared to what some of the other companies sell their products for and the cam chain guide roller is no differentAbout shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the cam chain guide roller, I chose EMS for an earlier arrival date.
