This is a side cover for the Honda XL230.
The right side is sold separately.
There is also a genuine vehicle inspection certificate holder on the inside.
It can be removed with Velcro.
This vehicle inspection certificate holder is lost in most vehicles, so I think it's extremely rare.
When the XL230 was released , it was unfairly criticized, with people saying things like, "Is Honda trying to kill its customers by offering drum brakes in this day and age?"
Recently, there has been an unprecedented boom in vintage cars, a neo-classic boom in which manufacturers have been declining and running out of ideas , and the Final Edition fraudulent business practices.
The old stuff has been completely redesigned
The XL230 was not well understood at the time, but for better or worse, it was only available for a short period of time and produced in small numbers.
Now it is a rare car model and its value has skyrocketed.
The only genuine vintage car that is more popular than the original CT200, XL125, and XL250 is
The engine is based on the same air-cooled single-cylinder as Honda's FTR and XR.
It is easy to procure engine parts and maintain them.
I think the fact that it comes with a cell is a big advantage.
Kickstarting a 70s or 80s vehicle is cool, but
If you're riding off-road, the starter is very effective when you stall on gravel or rough terrain.
That's why it seems there won't be any trouble with engine parts,
This is not the case when it comes to exterior parts.
Tanks, seats, side covers, fenders, mufflers, etc.
Although it looks the same as the original vehicle, it is subtly different, so you will need to look for an original part.
Production numbers are low and spare parts are becoming increasingly scarce.
There are fewer and fewer beautiful second-hand items available, so please take advantage of this opportunity.
The condition is
There are some scratches and small marks due to use,
There are no cracks or chips.
The mounting dowels have traces of use,
It remains strong without breaking or cracking,
It also fits perfectly onto the vehicle (see image 8) .
The vehicle inspection certificate holder and Velcro are still in place.
This one also has some scratches and discoloration due to use.
There is some rust on the buttons (see bottom left of image 8),
There are no tears or anything.
The "XL230" decal on the surface remains intact with no peeling or chipping (9th image) .
The overall condition is good, but the plastic parts are the part that touches the inner thighs when riding.
There are some fine scratches.
It looks shiny when you look at it normally like in the photo, but depending on the lighting and close-ups
There are scratches and scuffs all over the item (see image 10).
Please understand that this is likely to be the case for all items unless they are completely new.

It is in good condition, but it is a vintage part that was used and stored for a long time,
